Pet parents often might have to deal with their whiny fur babies who don’t want their owners to go to work. This Instagram video is the perfect example of that, as a Dachshund named Kona tries to stop her dog mom with her puppy eyes. It seems the pooch’s efforts are understood because the woman narrates Kona’s thoughts in the clip. In the caption, the human expresses her emotions. It reads, “It’s so hard to leave my babies when I have to go into the office.” Furthermore, the dog work video was uploaded a few hours ago and has already received over 100 likes at the time of writing.

Dachshund gets needy when it’s time for mom to go to work

In an adorable and heart-melting dog video on Instagram, a Dachshund puppy named Kona gets needy when it’s time for her mom to go to her job. It begins with an on-screen line that explains the context. It reads, “When a Dachshund doesn’t want you to leave for work.”

The clip then shows the pup standing on a carpet floor while innocently looking at the dog mom. The latter seems to be sitting on a couch and spending time with the pooch before leaving for work. But her puppy eyes have been making it difficult for the human to get up and go. Aside from showing her needy eyes, Kona tries to jump on the couch and stay closer to the woman. Meanwhile, the dog mom repeatedly asks the fur baby, “What are you doing?”

In the dog work video, the pet parent further assumes Kona’s thoughts and speaks openly. She says (pretending to be the pet), “Mom! Do you gotta go to work? I don’t want you to go to work. Can’t you just stay home and play with me, Mom!” During this narration, the owner showers Kano with love, scratching her favorite spots and rubbing her belly.
