Finding a forever home is special for any animal, but for Hera, it represents a complete transformation of her entire world. This former breeding dog is finally happy in a safe family home. She lived through eight litters before being rescued by @justgunnerstunner recently. Her initial video shows her sitting in a car, looking incredibly tired and sad. She seems to be asking for a break from her previous life. Now, this sweet American Bully is learning that humans can actually be kind and provide constant love.

It’s heartwarming to see that Hera is now experiencing a long list of firsts with her new owners. This includes a very important first taste of an ice cream cone. She licks at the treat with total curiosity and a happy expression. You can tell immediately that this dog finally feels safe with a family after years of breeding.

This breed typically has an incredibly gentle and affectionate nature despite its powerful appearance. She even lets a little boy pet her soft head while they sit together. She finally realizes her only job is to be a beloved pet.

The transformation continues as she explores her new backyard, and then sniffs around indoors with her Dachshund brother. She is no longer just a source for puppies for someone else. Plus, this dog is a cherished companion who loves going on daily walks. In another post, her human tells the viewers that now her tail starts wagging the second she sees her collar. They also add that Hera dotes on her siblings. It is amazing to see her personality shine.

She is even starting to share a communal bed with her new friends when earlier she used to be too scared to go near it. What’s better? She feels protected in her new environment now. She especially enjoys car rides where she can just curl up and relax.

The video has already crossed 93.3k likes in a day, and the comments say it all. One viewer mentioned they are rooting for her to have the absolute best life. As are we.
