In a heartwarming Instagram video, a family adopts a new puppy after their Dalmatian, Brody, passes away. The clip begins with Brody becoming quiet after he lost his mother. The family couldn’t see their pet sad, so they tried to “give him the company of our other animals. But his mental health didn’t change.

So, his humans decided to adopt another puppy, who could be Brody’s new companion. A few days before the visiting day, the Dalmatian “developed a limp.” The family had to put the adoption on hold and shifted all their focus to the pooch’s recovery as he was diagnosed with cancer. They received the sad news on the day when they were on their way to meet the new pup.

Sadly, within two days, Brody passed away, leaving a grieving family behind. While they were trying to cope, the pet parents couldn’t “shake the feeling” about the other dog. So, they reached out again and found that the adoption agency had kept the pup for them. Fate seems to have worked in the family’s favor, as they believe the new member, Marlie, has been sent to them by Brody.

Meanwhile, the emotional dog video has left viewers in tears. “BAWLING! Brody was precious and so is Marlie,” a user commented. Furthermore, the post has garnered over 100K likes as of this writing.
