A dog copies her furry sibling and learns to alert for the funniest reason. This Instagram video shows a pooch named Ellie learning to alert from his dog brother, Leo. The latter learned the gesture in his service school, which he never graduated from. In the clip, Leo shows alert by booping his nose on his owner’s thigh multiple times. The owner mentions in the caption that they “gotta love the boops.” Meanwhile, the funny part is that Ellie learns the gesture from her furry sibling because she noticed that he got treats after the booping.

In a funny and adorable dog video on Instagram, a pooch named Ellie copies a trained alert from her furry sibling, Leo. But the reason she learns the gesture is interesting and hilarious. The clip begins with Leo booping his nose (almost his mouth) on the owner’s thigh multiple times. Meanwhile, on-screen text gives background on the pooch.

It says that Leo was in a service dog school, where he learned to alert. But the adorable canine didn’t graduate; however, he knows how and when to use the skill. “He now only alerts when HE needs service,” the uploader quipped. Then, next comes Ellie, who has never attended a service dog school, but knows how to alert.

She has copied her brother and noticed how Leo gets treats whenever he does the gesture. So now both siblings do it and get treats from the owner. At the end of the video, the human gives treats to another dog, who seems to be unaware of the other two’s efforts. His name is Oliver.

Meanwhile, viewers have found the content funny and joked about Oliver’s role in it. A user commented, “This is Oliver. Oliver is just happy to be included.” Another wrote, “Leo is good in alert, Ellie is good in learning by imitation and Oliver is a good boy.” Moreover, the post has garnered over 610K likes as of this writing.
